We host a special time of growth and discipleship designed just for kids each Sunday at 9:30 called "Kid's Connection".    There are also seasonal events for fun or service designed for kids to experience the positive, healthy life of a church home!

Kids Connection

We’ve taken the “school” out of Sundays. Kids Connection is an engaging experience created just for your children ages 3 through 5th grade. It is an hour of fun where Biblical truths are taught in relevant and creative ways using drama, games, music and videos. And all this excitement takes place in a loving small group environment where every child is valued.

Youth Ministry at Our Savior

We have a strong committment to teens.  At Our Savior we offer a youth program for those in grades 7-12. We seek to include not only the teens within our church body, but also those in the surrounding community.

The youth ministry at OSLC seeks to equip youth to grow in their personal relationship with Christ and empower them to share their faith in relationships inside and outside the church in a language relevant to today’s youth culture.

Our vision within the youth ministry includes providing youth with a fun and supportive community, guided by committed leaders, which provides them with opportunities for worship, fellowship, discipleship, evangelism, and service.  The ministry also looks for ways to involve youth in various aspects of Our Savior's ministry, and actively seeks contribution from parents, adults and younger children within the church body.

When do we meet?

Students in grades 7-12 are welcome to join us on Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:15 for PulseThis is a time for us to come together and study God’s word, fellowship with one another and play some fun games together! It is here that students not only build relationships with one another, but also are often challenged in their own walk with the Lord through discussions of what the Bible has to say about topics that are relevant to us today!

Service Projects and Outings:  Each month the youth ministry at Our Savior also takes part in a service project, opening up our eyes to the needs in our community and around the world. We often help at the Ipswich Dinner Bell, serving a hot meal to anyone in need, and have also volunteered for projects such as raking leaves for the elderly and packing Christmas presents for children in other countries. This year we will also be taking part in the 30 Hour Famine, raising funds because we recognize that for some children, starvation is an everyday reality. It is great to serve in the Lord’s name!!

We also take part in an event each month that encourages fellowship among students. These events include activities such as bowling, an indoor trampoline park, sledding at a local sports park, and a family potluck and game night at church.  We believe that encouraging safe, fun events for students can often encourage closer friendships within the youth ministry, and will allow students to feel more comfortable inviting their non-Christian friends to an event, which may open the door to a conversation about what they believe.

The youth ministry is led by Youth Director, Kerry Trunfio and a dedicated group of volunteers.
