About Worship

Traditional Worship 8:15

Traditional

Our 8:15 Worship uses the Lutheran Service Book settings. You'll experience the singing of hymns, organ, choir, Good's Word, and a sermon that seeks to connect God's truth to modern daily life.

Contemporary Worship 10:30

Contemporary

Our 10:30 worship is with a Praise Band using guitars, drums, and keyboard. Worship is done in a reverant way using the same readings, prayers, and sermon as the traditional worship.

Unity Services are at 9:30 am

Unity Services

On special occasions and all summer we combine the two worships to one "Unity" time of 9:30 am. These have a blend of the two worship styles.

A Couple of Questions about Worship

Why have Worship as part of your life?

It’s healthy!  God’s Word encourages believers to regularly gather together. We are not at our best as disciples just on our own.  God calls His people to come together.  At worship, we are nourished by God’s Word and Sacrament. At worship, we have the opportunity to support and encourage each other.

Why do we have two worship styles?

Worship connects the prayers, sights, and sounds  that are relevant and meaningful to people. We realize that people don’t all like the same music.  These are both Christ-centered times of prayer, preaching, song, and sacrament.

* Communion is on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays
* Kid’s Sermons are every Sunday
