The book for this summer is “Bearing God’s Name” by Dr. Carmen Imes. It’s a great walk through of “why Sinai still matters”. The group plans two dinner discussions. One at the 1/2 way point of the book and one for the whole book. This book does a great job putting the Old Testament into a “big picture” narrative of a story that all leads to Jesus! Dr. Imes makes a wonderful point concerning the commandment to “Not carry the Lord’s name in vain”!
